Corporate Social Responsibility Policy
Carolyn Roberson Consulting is passionate about the community, the environment, the development of skills and the quality of life for future generations. The consultancy’s policy is to:
- work in an environmentally-aware way
- maximise electronic and telecommunications, avoiding unnecessary use of paper and other products
- recycle used products in the following ways:
- shred and bag confidential waste for recycling as cat litter
- re-cycle any used paper, boxes, packaging or other items in accordance with the local council’s standards
- recycle any used paper, boxes or other items in accordance with clients’ standards if working on client premises
- adhere to the local council’s policies for disposal of office and domestic garbage, outdoor refuse, plastics, glass, cans, and newspapers (or as determined by clients’ policies if working on their premises)
- Contribute to the organisations and sectors in which the consultancy primarily operates, with particular involvement in:
- The Chartered Institute of Marketing
- Institute of Customer Service
- Institute of Business Consulting
- The Institute of Directors
- St Helens Chamber of Commerce
- Contribute to the welfare of the local and global communities through active participation in:
- Rotary Club of St Helens – participating in the club as an active member, a member of Council and the club's communications officer
- Rotary UK – contributing to the North West District marketing and communications drive
- Rotary International – supporting a Polio Eradication project in 2009, aimed at eradicating polio from the remaining four countries
- Nurture future generations, in the past by employing marketing students and creating traineeships (and delivering fortnightly skills training). Once further established, this consultancy will actively seek to engage with local or specialist colleges to provide work experience and learning opportunities.
